Wicks and Wilson
have been manufacturing microfilm cards and chemicals for over three
decades. The production facility in Basingstoke, UK is one of the few
remaining in the world today.
Card production has always been an integral
part of Wicks and Wilson's business strategy and over the years has
aided in the design and manufacture of microfilm scanning, duplicating
and plotting products.
The cards and chemicals manufacturing unit at Wicks and Wilson produces
many microfilm products including, but not limited to, the following:
• Aperture cards* (mounting card)
• Copy cards* (blue diazo film)
• Copy cards* (black diazo film)
• Camera cards* (packaged to suit various camera types)
• Plotter cards* (suitable for laser microfilm plotters)
• Punch/tabulating cards *
* Bespoke printing is available for all card types.
Various types of photographic chemicals are also manufactured,
in particular the specially formulated Two Part Developer
system for the Wicks and Wilson ACO-2 Plotstation. For further
